Will it snow in the desert? The first snow in 37 years in the Sahara Desert

The Sahara desert is one of the driest and hottest regions in the world. But in 2016, a small town in Algeria’s Sahara Desert experienced its first snow in 37 years, and the red dunes unexpectedly turned white.
