Einstein left behind three predictions, the first one for us to look forward to, and the third one for mankind to worry about

But Einstein told us with relativity that the speed limit is the speed of light, and a mass object can only infinitely approach the speed of light. No matter how hard they try, the speed of particles can only be continuously improved on the basis of 99%, and can’t reach 100% of the speed of light.

The diameter of the solar system is two light years, while the diameter of the Milky way is 100000 light years. Now, the universe that humans can observe is 93 billion light-years, which may be just the tip of the iceberg of the whole universe.


If we want to explore such a vast universe, we can’t do without the advantage of speed. Even if our spaceship has achieved 99% of the speed of light, we can at most explore the solar system, not to mention the entire galaxy. If so, what is the significance of human development of science and technology to explore the universe? Will we always be trapped in a limited range?

Is the speed of light unbreakable? In fact, Einstein’s general theory of relativity reveals to us that the universe can be distorted, and in the state of distorted space, it can fly faster than the speed of light, and also puts forward the wormhole conjecture.

Wormhole is a channel that may be opened when the space is greatly distorted. It allows our spacecraft to pass through the hole and quickly reach the other end of the universe. If the wormhole can be realized, then the distance of the universe will no longer be a problem for us. Even two galaxies separated by millions of light-years can be quickly reached through the wormhole, instead of only fantasy in the past.


2、 Cosmological constant. When Einstein proved that the universe is a “stable state”, he added a non-existent factor to the relevant equation, which is “cosmological constant”. The function of adding this constant is to counteract gravity.

Newton once put forward a similar “ether theory”, but in later research, Hubble confirmed the correctness of “Hubble’s law”, and pointed out that cosmological constants were wrong and did not exist. Due to the limited scientific and technological strength at that time, we didn’t know the existence of dark energy, so we couldn’t use it to prove the real existence of cosmological constant.


In this regard, Einstein also frankly admitted that cosmological constant was the biggest mistake in his life. Is cosmological constant really a mistake of Einstein? With the continuous progress of human science and technology, many people have forgotten Einstein’s prediction, but in the 21st century, in the process of cosmic research and exploration, we found that dark matter and dark energy exist.

Dark energy is an invisible force in the universe. It occupies the vast majority of the matter in the universe. It may be the most important thing in the operation of the universe, and it can be offset by gravity. The force produced by dark energy is very similar to the properties of cosmological constant, so some scientists think that cosmological constant may really exist, maybe it is dark energy that we don’t know now.

3、 In the fourth World War, Einstein made two great contributions to mankind, one is the theory of relativity, the other is the mass energy equation. The mass energy equation reveals that energy and matter are two forms of mass, which can be transformed into each other.

When there is another war, we can only use weapons such as stones to fight. This prediction may seem a bit pessimistic and frightening. Some people think it is impossible.

But if we think about it carefully, you will find that Einstein did not make this prediction when his head was hot, but after a lot of thinking and analysis. The rapid development of mankind has brought people better and better living conditions, but everything has two sides. Science and technology also makes weapons more powerful.
