Methane is an organic matter. On earth, the main source of methane is microorganisms, which means that methane can also give birth to life.

Will there be special life on Titan’s surface or in the methane ocean? Methane based life? Perhaps in many people’s inherent concept, life on earth cannot do without water, 80% of the material in the human body is water, and so are other creatures. So, will alien life be as inseparable from water as earth life? Maybe not. Maybe life on Titan lives on methane. For these extraterrestrial life, methane is the source of life.
