On July 24, 2015, NASA announced that it had found an earth like planet near Cygnus, 1400 light-years away from the earth, with a similarity index of 0.98.

It’s Kepler 452b, because it was discovered by Kepler space telescope, and it’s the second farthest planet in the 452 star system of Kepler plan, so it’s named after it.

The overall color of Kepler 452b is very similar to the earth. It looks like a beautiful and pleasant planet with mountains, water, rivers and green plants.
