Venus has no magnetic field, but its atmosphere is very thick, and 95% of the atmosphere is carbon dioxide, and there is a layer of sulfuric acid cloud. At the same time, there are acid rain and frequent lightning.
The complex and harsh environment of Venus makes it difficult for the orbiter to see the surface of Venus through the thick atmosphere, and it is difficult for the probe to survive for a long time to land on Venus. In 1975, the Soviet Union’s “Venus 9” probe successfully landed on the surface of Venus for the first time, but it was scrapped in less than two hours.
Although Venus 9 only worked for a short time, it still photographed some information about the surface of Venus and sent the data back to earth. For the first time, humans have seen the tip of the iceberg on the surface of Venus. Scientists have just seen the bad situation of Venus. It is very difficult to explore it with the current human science and technology, so they put their eyes from Venus to Mars. The environment of Mars is much better than that of Venus. The orbital probe can also see some surface conditions. At the same time, the probe can also land on the surface of Mars for long-term exploration.
Although scientists have not been exploring Venus for a long time, they have still obtained a lot of valuable data through a large number of detectors. Up to now, scientists are still sorting out and analyzing these data, hoping to discover some secrets of Venus through these data, and really let scientists have a major discovery.
Russian experts analyzed and sorted out the data from the “Venus 9”, “Venus 10”, “Venus 13” and “Venus 14” probes, and then processed the image of Venus surface. From the image, we can see that objects with stable structure are moving slowly? What’s going on? What would this moving object be?
At first, scientists thought that these moving objects might be caused by the strong wind on the surface of Venus. However, after careful research and analysis, scientists believed that these moving objects in the image have obvious structural dimensions, and they are unlikely to be natural geological objects of Venus. And their positions change in each final image.
Scientists speculate that the objects in the image are moving independently, and the only objects that can move independently may be organisms. As a result, scientists speculate that these moving objects may be unique to Venus. Scientists speculate that it is possible that when the probe landed on Venus, the huge dust covered them and alerted these “creatures”, and then they quickly moved away from the probe.
When the detector just landed, the camera was covered with dust and did not take a clear picture of them, so we are not sure what they are now? Moreover, as we said earlier, although several probes landed on Venus in the last century, due to the harsh environment of Venus, none of these probes survived on the surface of Venus for long, and Venus 9, the longest working time, only worked for less than two hours.
Although the time is very short, good results and data have been achieved. If in the future, a new human probe landed on Venus and found creatures, it will open a new chapter in human exploration of Venus. Scientists are not sure whether there is life on Venus. If we saw the harsh environment on the surface of Venus in the past, we would say that there is no life.
However, with the discovery of life in some extreme environments on earth, scientists have realized that the viability of life is far beyond our imagination. Although there is no water on the surface of Venus, it does not mean that there is no special life without water. These creatures are very different from life on earth. They can live on the hot and dry surface of Venus.
