The human body is indifferent to 1000 ℃ high temperature, why is this? Scientists reveal special phenomena

Human beings and other creatures can appear on the earth, largely because the earth has the right temperature. The temperature is very important for some animals. If the temperature is too high, it is likely to cause death. Even as the ruler of the earth, we can not accept the high or low temperature of Baidu.

High temperature is harmful to human body in many ways. Human beings are thermostatic animals. Generally, the heat generated by human body is just equal to the heat dissipation, and the body temperature is always kept at about 37 ℃. In general, 80% of the body’s heat is released through skin radiation, conduction, convection and evaporation. When the temperature is high, protein decomposition increases, blood glucose concentration decreases, and a large number of calories are consumed.

At the same time, due to high temperature, human skin blood vessels will expand in order to dissipate heat, so that the effective circulation of blood volume is relatively reduced. Human beings are thermostatic animals. Generally, the body temperature does not exceed 35 ~ 42 ℃. When the temperature reaches 41 ℃, the liver, kidney and brain of human organs will have dysfunction. A high fever of 42 ℃ for several days can lead to adult death. However, sometimes there is a special phenomenon, in some cases, the human body will not feel hot when the temperature reaches 1000 degrees.

In August last year, the United States launched the Parker probe into the sun and parked it 6.2 million kilometers away from the surface of the sun, when man-made devices were closest to the sun. However, due to the proximity to the fireball, the temperature of the detector itself reached 1370 ℃.

The temperature of the surface corona is often very high. The temperature measured by the instrument is as high as one million degrees Celsius, far higher than the highest melting point on earth. But why can the Parker detector withstand this temperature?

This “abnormal” phenomenon also occurs in the high altitude areas of the earth. The temperature measured within tens of kilometers of the earth’s surface is as high as 1000 degrees Celsius, but people don’t feel hot. Because the temperature represents the average kinetic energy of a large number of particles, and the air is relatively thin, the number of particles is relatively small, so the average kinetic energy generated is relatively low, and the temperature measured by the instrument becomes an “illusion”.

The same is true in a vacuum, where there is almost no matter, much thinner than the air on earth. If there is no protection of the earth’s atmosphere, the temperature in vacuum will be higher than the earth’s surface in theory, but the vacuum is very low, because there are few particles, which can not effectively store heat and the heat transfer is relatively slow.

Naturally, the temperature sensed by plants and animals on the earth’s surface is real and basically consistent with the measured value. In recent years, the world is warming and many species are extinct, which means that temperature is changing the world, but human beings don’t have much time to change the future.
