Since the birth of the universe 13.8 billion years ago, countless celestial bodies have been born in the long years. These objects include stars, planets, black holes, neutron stars and so on. No one knows how big the universe is, and it’s hard for us to know how many kinds of celestial bodies there are in the same universe.
Although the cosmic objects observed by scientists are mainly concentrated in stars, planets, black holes, neutron stars and other objects, we can not guarantee that there are other special objects beyond our knowledge in the universe. We should know that in the vast universe, the scope of the universe that can be observed by human beings is very limited. Because the expansion speed of the universe exceeds the speed of light, the celestial bodies of the early universe are located at the edge of the expansion speed of light, so photons can not come to us. Naturally, we can not really observe the early celestial bodies of the universe.
It is possible that there are some strange celestial bodies in the unknown region of the universe, in the region that we have not yet observed. Scientists have put forward three possible conjectures. There may be two kinds of strange celestial bodies in the universe, each of which may overturn our cognition.
1、 Annular planets, speaking of planets, I believe everyone is familiar with. There are eight planets in the solar system, and each star in the universe is surrounded by a number of planets. It can be said that the planet is the most numerous and ubiquitous celestial body in the universe, and the place where life is born is often on the planet.
No matter what the mass of the planet, their shape is basically spherical, the greater the mass of the planet, the more standard spherical. For example, the earth is a very standard spherical planet. When we stand outside the earth, we can see the spherical planet earth very intuitively. It is generally recognized that planets are spherical.
In fact, except for planets, most of the celestial bodies in the universe exist in the form of spheres. Even small bodies such as asteroids, they also appear irregular spheres. The reason why celestial bodies exist in the form of spheres is mainly related to the role of gravity.
We all know that stars, planets and asteroids were born in the early nebulae. After the big bang, a variety of basic materials were first formed, and then these materials formed nebulae. The nebula is composed of a large amount of matter and cosmic dust, which continuously condense to form a small celestial body in the center.
After the formation of this small celestial body, relying on its own gravity, it began to attract more matter and dust closer to it. When the mass reaches a certain degree, it will undergo qualitative change, ignite the internal nuclear fusion, and become a star. The mass of stars accounts for more than 90% of the mass of the whole nebula, and the rest of the other materials form later planets, asteroids and other celestial bodies.
In the process of matter aggregation, the gravitation around is almost the same, especially with the increasing mass of the celestial body, the formed gravitation spreads around the same extent. In this way, the proportion of matter condensed around to the planets is almost the same, and the standard spherical planets will gradually form.
According to our understanding of planetary theory, there should be no other forms of celestial bodies in the universe. But there is no absolute, just as the so-called big universe, there is no wonder. Scientists speculate that there may be a kind of ring planet beyond our knowledge in the universe. The so-called ring planet is similar to a bracelet, with a hollow center and no matter.
And the annular planet is not a sphere, but a flat shape. This kind of strange planet completely subverts our cognition. Under the existing celestial theory, it is unlikely to exist. So why do scientists speculate that it might exist? In fact, in the normal cosmic environment, this kind of ring planet is impossible to exist, but the universe is not exactly the same environment.
There are always some special magical environment space, if it is in a special environment, the existing theory of celestial body formation may not be suitable. If a civilization develops to a certain extent, it is possible to transform and create planets.
When a civilization has the ability to transform and create planets, will it use technology to create a strange celestial body like a ring planet? This is entirely possible. If human beings have such ability, they may also create special celestial bodies that cannot be formed under natural conditions.
2、 Satellites of satellites, I believe we are not unfamiliar with the satellites of planets. Most of the planets are surrounded by satellites. For example, the earth has a natural moon, Mars also has satellites, and there are more satellites of Jupiter and Saturn.
No matter what kind of satellites they are, since they are satellites, they naturally have to go around the planet. So is there a kind of satellite in the universe: it doesn’t go around a planet, it goes around a satellite. For example, satellite a operates in a planetary environment, and satellite B operates in a satellite environment. Will such satellites exist in the universe?
Some people may say, how can there be such a satellite in the universe? Isn’t this a complete violation of the laws of astrophysics? In fact, the operation of satellites around satellites does not violate the principles of astrophysical operation, which may occur under some special circumstances.
However, until now, scientists have not found such a satellite around the existence of celestial bodies, if such a satellite system really exists, where will it be? Scientists think it’s only possible in areas far from the edge of stars, such as the Kuiper belt on the edge of the solar system.
If it is an inner Galaxy close to the sun, the satellite will be affected by two forces, one is the gravitational action of the sun, the other is the gravitational action of the planet. Under the action of these two forces, it can only revolve around the planet, not around other satellites. However, at the edge of the solar system, there is already a place where the influence of the sun’s gravity is very weak, and the influence of the sun on satellites is very small. If there is a collision of some celestial bodies, it is possible for satellites to orbit satellites.
Of course, at present, this is only a conjecture. Due to the limited scientific and technological strength of human beings, we can not fully explore the edge of the solar system. Naturally, we do not know the specific details of the Kuiper belt and the distribution of celestial bodies there. We can only wait for the future technology to go further, when we can quickly go to the edge of the solar system, we may find many special objects there.
