Why do all the celestial bodies in the universe rotate? What kind of power is this?

In our cognition, objects have two states at the macro level, one is the moving state, the other is the static state. Of course, the motion of an object is a relative state, and there is no absolutely stationary object. The reason is that when we enter the micro world, you will find that particles are in motion, and objects are composed of tiny particles. Since particles are not absolutely static, then objects are not absolutely static.

However, when we take an object as a reference, for example, we live on the earth, and take the earth as a reference, the object will have a relative state of motion and rest. In our field of vision, some objects are moving and some objects are still. At this time, we naturally can’t feel the movement of the earth.

In ancient times, people looked at the sun, moon and stars in the sky and saw that the sun and moon were constantly changing their positions. They thought that the sun and moon were moving, but the earth was not moving. It is the rotation and revolution of the earth that gives rise to day and night, and the four seasons of the year. When we walk out of the earth and stand in space, we can directly see the rotation and revolution of the earth. The birth of a star absorbs most of the material in the nebula, and the rest of the material continues to move around the star, and then forms planets and other small bodies at different positions, which is the formation of a stellar system. Because of the angular momentum produced by the internal electron collision, the whole nebula is rotating, and the stars, planets and other celestial bodies born in the nebula also move because of the existence of angular momentum.

In all kinds of celestial bodies formed after the big bang, stars occupy an important position. The reason is that stars are equivalent to a nuclear fusion reactor, which can continuously convert a large number of hydrogen elements produced by the big bang into helium elements through nuclear fusion, and helium elements will be continuously converted into various elements such as iron. It can be said that the abundant elements in the universe are basically derived from the nuclear fusion of stars.

In a sense, stars are equivalent to the refinery of the universe. Without this refinery, even if the universe is born, there will only be basic elements, but not rich and colorful elements. The rich and colorful elements are the basis for the continuous evolution of the universe. Without these, the life planet cannot be born, and the intelligent life cannot be born.

At the end of the life of a star, a large number of elements will be ejected into the universe in the form of supernova explosion. It is possible that the formation of the solar system was also affected by the explosion of the previous generation of massive stars, resulting in the present abundant heavy elements. Supernova explosions bring heavy elements to the universe.


Although the celestial bodies and galaxies in the universe can basically maintain a relatively stable and safe state due to the existence of motion, when the level is magnified to such a large galaxy as the Milky way, the motion of galaxies can not maintain the same stability and safety as that of celestial bodies. The reason is that the motion of a large galaxy is not fixed. For a large galaxy like the Milky way, its revolution has no fixed orbit, but is constantly moving.

It is this constantly moving state that makes it possible for the Milky way to collide and fuse with other large galaxies. For example, scientists have found that in about 3.8 billion years, the Milky way will collide and fuse with its neighbor Andromeda galaxy, forming a larger elliptical galaxy. It can be seen that those very large galaxies in the universe may be formed by collision and fusion.

In human cognition, celestial bodies maintain a stable state by rotation and revolution, so that they can live safely in the universe. So does a huge object in the universe have to keep moving to resist gravity, not to be static? If the celestial body does not move according to the natural law of the universe, it will collide with other celestial bodies.


But there is no absolute. There is a power that can be changed. It is technology. The power of science and technology is inexhaustible, it is superior to the laws of the universe. As long as the power of science and technology is strong enough, we can build spaceships as big as planets, which can make spaceships still in the universe, unlike celestial bodies that have to keep moving.
