Why doesn’t China carry out manned lunar landing? After listening to the explanation of the scientists, I suddenly realized

When human beings walked out of the earth for the first time and saw the vast universe, they already understood that the future of human beings must be in space. Space exploration, space mining, interstellar migration and so on are bound to become the main theme of the future. If you want to explore space, you need strong space strength. Half a century ago, the most powerful space powers in the world were the Soviet Union and the United States.

The Soviet Union realized two human missions, the first to send a satellite into space and the first to send astronauts into space. The United States, on the other hand, achieved the first manned landing on the moon, and is the only country that has ever done so.

China’s space science and technology started late and did not participate in the space race half a century ago. At that time, our country was still poor and space science and technology was also very weak. However, with the continuous improvement of China’s comprehensive strength and the rapid development of science and technology, aerospace science and technology are also developing rapidly. It can be said that China has spent 50 years digesting and absorbing the aerospace technology of the United States and the Soviet Union for more than 100 years, which has made China a powerful Aerospace country.

China’s space technology has developed very rapidly in recent years, and has realized several explorations of the moon. Last year, chang’e-4 successfully landed on the back of the moon for the first time. At the same time, China’s space station is also stepping up construction, which may become the only space station in low earth orbit in the future.

China will also launch a Mars probe in July this year to start exploration and Research on Mars. At the same time, chang’e-5 is also expected to launch this year. It can be seen that China’s aerospace strength has been in the leading position in the world, so some people have raised such a question: Since China’s current aerospace strength is already very strong, why not carry out a manned lunar landing? Is China’s space technology still inferior to that of the United States 50 years ago?

In fact, it is not difficult to solve this mystery. First of all, let’s take a look at the reasons why the United States did not carry out a manned lunar landing half a century ago? As we all know, Apollo 11 of the United States successfully landed on the moon in 1969, realizing the feat of a small step for astronauts and a big step for human civilization. Such a feat of landing on the moon was remarkable 50 years ago, and the sensation caused at that time consolidated the status of the United States as a world power.

However, 50 years have passed since the U.S. manned lunar landing, and there is still no second manned lunar landing. In this regard, many people doubt the authenticity of the U.S. landing on the moon. In fact, there is no doubt about the authenticity of the U.S. landing on the moon. Scientists have already come out to explain this, and the lunar probes of various countries have also found traces of that year’s landing on the moon.

50 years ago, the reason why the United States chose to carry a man to the moon was actually a forced act. You know, in those days, we were in the race between the United States and the Soviet Union. The strength of the Soviet Union made the United States uncomfortable. Moreover, the Soviet Union successively completed the launch of the first human satellite, and each time it launched astronauts into space. At this time, if the United States does not do something bigger to recover, then the status of world hegemony may not be guaranteed.

So the United States decided to launch a more sensational manned landing on the moon. With the space technology of that year, it was a very risky act to carry out a manned landing on the sun. But in order to win the space race, the United States had to do so. Fortunately, it succeeded in landing on the moon and consolidated its hegemony. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the United States won the space race.

Now that the United States has won, it is no longer necessary to carry out the follow-up manned lunar landing. The reason is very simple. The cost is too high, and the economic strength of the United States at that time could not afford it. As a matter of fact, manned lunar exploration is equivalent to an expensive luxury trip. At most, we can only bring back a little stone from the moon, and we can do nothing else.

This kind of exploration work can be completed by unmanned probes with lower cost. Therefore, the United States has not carried out any manned lunar landing in the past 50 years, but only sent probes to explore the moon. Similarly, in modern times 50 years later, it is also possible to carry out a manned lunar landing again with human science and technology, but the same cost is amazing, and the gain is not worth the loss.

China’s aerospace strength is not weak at all. Chang’e-4 can successfully land on the back of the moon, so it is believed that manned landing on the front of the moon can also be achieved. The reason why we don’t do this is to consider the high cost. Even if we send astronauts to explore on the moon, the ultimate benefit is to bring back a few samples of lunar rocks, just like Apollo did 50 years ago.

The probe can bring back stone samples from the moon. Chang’e-5, which is likely to be launched this year, will go to the moon to collect samples and then successfully return to earth. The cost of the probe is far lower than that of manned landing on the moon, so there is no need for us to carry out manned landing on the moon. The extra money is better than building a space station, which is an important space project in China.

Some people may think that compared with 50 years ago, human space science and technology has achieved a leap forward. Since we were able to successfully land a man on the moon 50 years ago, it should be easier and cheaper now. But is that really the case? In fact, this is not the case. The scientific and technological strength of human civilization has undergone earth shaking changes in the past 50 years.

However, in the field of space exploration, there has not been much progress. Take the speed of spacecraft for example, there has not been much change since 50 years ago. Fifty years ago, we needed rocket boost to launch a spacecraft into space. Now we still need rocket boost. And like the large rocket launched by the United States into space 50 years ago, it is still at the leading level in the world. Other countries have not fully mastered the technology of this kind of large rocket.

It can be seen that there has been no rapid development of human space science and technology in the past 50 years. Now we still need to face many problems if we want to successfully realize the manned lunar landing, and the success rate is not much higher than 50 years ago. The fundamental reason that restricted the rapid development of space science and technology 50 years ago is the energy problem.

Since mankind entered the era of science and technology, fossil energy has been developed and applied. It has served mankind for hundreds of years and greatly promoted the progress of human science and technology. However, the limitation of fossil energy is very strong. Its energy is extremely powerful on earth. However, in space exploration, fossil energy has fallen behind. Relying on fossil energy, human detectors always need the boost of rockets, which is expensive and not safe. The speed of fossil energy detectors in the universe is also very limited, which can not meet the needs of space exploration.

Therefore, only when major breakthroughs are made in energy technology can significant progress be made in human space exploration. The moon is the earth’s satellite, very close to the earth, and the resources on the moon are also very rich, it is the important energy helium-3 that determines the future of mankind. The moon is a huge treasure house in the eyes of human beings, but now we have no way to exploit and apply such a treasure house.

After a major breakthrough in energy technology is made, when the spacecraft goes into space without rocket support, mining the moon will become the primary goal of mankind. At that time, there will be various human bases on the moon, and it is possible to build a lunar city on the moon, and some people will migrate to live in the lunar city. Therefore, the first planet for human migration in the future will probably be the moon, not Mars.
